DS-2 18-1638 Resolution to Amend the Office of Sustainability and Innovations FY 2019 Budget and Appropriate Funds for New and the Scaling-Up of Existing Climate and Sustainability Programs in the City of Ann Arbor (8 Votes Required)
As a graduate student at the University Of Michigan School for Environment and Sustainability, I offer my support for greater funding for climate and sustainability programs in Ann Arbor. This is the defining issue of our time, as we are seeing with tragic wildfires in California. And the opportunity in large part falls to cities around the world, who may propel the meaningful change that is so needed. I am hopeful because I know that this is something that we can do and it is something that we must do.
