Not OK with this. I have not spoken to one single person who supports this, once they are told about the real estate scheming going on at city hall. How about this; those of you who support this idea, who insist this is a sure thing - head over to a bank and take out a joint loan for $4.2 million dollars and exercise the option yourselves. If you wouldn't consider doing that with your own money, why would you consider doing it with OUR money?
Stop playing Real Estate Tycoon and gambling with our children's futures. It's disgusting behavior, those of you who would gamble the public's money on private real estate investments are in violation of their fiduciary responsibility. It's not like we have $4.2 million burning a hole in our pockets, this is BORROWING at interest TO SPECULATE, do you understand that? Would a financial advisor approve of this behavior? It's my "full faith and credit" on the line here, DON'T DO IT.
