With my $39,000 annual salary as a full time teacher ag Gretchen’s House in town, I an unable to afford living in the city that I serve. Thanks to the Ann Arbor Community Land Trust, I have the opportunity to own a home at 1535 S. Maple Road, less than 2 miles from where I work. Expediting the zoning approvals will get rid of my twice-daily 55-minute commute from Howell, saving over $350 in gas alone each month. This zoning change will allow for me to move into my home faster, as well as others like me who are waiting for their homes. Please help me move back to the city that I love. Thank you!
