I'm excited to see TC-1 finally see the light of day. This part of town is mostly a series of isolated buildings with large parking lots, and I hope this is the first step towards making a more walkable and sustainable community by the mall. I also recognize that this is not going to result in overnight change in the area, since it'll take a while to see what development happens. I also hope we can learn quickly from this area and apply this zoning to other areas such as Packard/Platt, Washtenaw, Plymouth, W. Stadium, etc. without waiting for a bunch of development to be fully completed.
