PH-1 17-0716 An Ordinance to Amend Sections 5.10.19, 5:10.20, 5:64, 5:65, 5:68 and 5:70 of Chapter 55 (Zoning) and Sections 5:169 of Chapter 59 (Off-Street Parking) of Title V of the Code of the City of Ann Arbor (Zoning Premiums/Design Requirements) (Ordinance No. ORD-17-15) (CPC Recommendation: Approval - 8 Yeas and 0 Nays)
Council should defer a decision on this issue, pending an open discussion of details and implications of Ann Arbor's streetscape in the future. Each council member should be able to explain to any constituent. I doubt that is possible. I oppose elimination of LEED monitoring after 3 years; developers should be responsible long-term. No decision until it is clear that changes will improve our city's carbon footprint. That is not clear in the amendment before you.
