PH-4 20-1796 Resolution to Approve 2111 Packard Site Plan and Development Agreement, at 2111 Packard Street (CPC Recommendation: Approval - 7 Yeas and 0 Nays).
I see 2111 packard is on your agenda again. I am very much in favor of this project and hope the vote is in favor so that it can move to the next step. It is an underutilized property and has not been kept up ever since I have lived here. Yes there will be new people in the neighborhood, I see no drawback in that. We would lose the extra parking area when big events are happening in the area but so be it. The design of the building is well thought out, the landscape buffer is welcomed and having all the parking behind the building will look much better. There could be a slight increase of traffic on Crestland and Anderson but I really doubt that would be a problem, most traffic on Crestland is school traffic. Maybe we could get sidewalk gap fill in as part of the project. The only thing that worry’s me is that this will not pass and we would get a much worse plan or no change at all.
I am opposed to the 2111 Packard Site Plan and Development Agreement, at 2111 Packard Street. This project is too dense for a quiet residential neighborhood and will negatively impact our quality of life.
