We are seeking approval to hold a 5k run in downtown Ann Arbor on 5/10/2020. 100% of race proceeds will be used to benefit the Michigan Ovarian Cancer Alliance (MIOCA). As part of our race planning, we will take all precautions to assure the safety of our participants, volunteers and spectators, including a virtual option for those unable or uncomfortable attending. As we continue to learn more about the COVID-19 pandemic, we will be prepared to adjust the race to a 100% virtual event if necessary. Of course, we will comply with all federal, state and local orders regarding public gatherings and other recommendations that may affect our ability to safely offer this event. Safety for all is our first priority as we plan this event. In a best case scenario, we will have another amazing event in downtown Ann Arbor that attracts visitors to this vibrant community, while helping raise funds for the important work being done by MIOCA.
